Shipping costs are not included in product prices and will be calculated based on your delivery address and item size if you are outside our standard Auckland delivery area

How to Get a Shipping Quote

If you are outside our courier’s standard Auckland delivery area or if your items are oversized, shipping charges must be manually calculated. To proceed with your order:

  1. Add your items to the cart.
  2. Select “Please Calculate Shipping and Send Me an Invoice” at checkout.
  3. We will source the best available shipping rate from our courier providers and send you an invoice within 48 business hours.

If the quoted shipping cost is not suitable, you can amend or cancel your order. Any payments made while checking out via the shopping cart will be refunded if shipping charges were still pending.

Important Shipping Notes

  • Courier companies have specific Rural Delivery zones, which may apply even if your address does not include “RD.” in your address.
  • Shipping rates vary based on weight and location. (For example, North Island courier fees increase at 15kg, and South Island rates rise significantly for packages over 10kg.)
  • As a small business, we cannot offer a flat nationwide shipping fee due to the variety of items we sell and fluctuating courier costs.

You are welcome to email us at [email protected] with your address and the items you wish to purchase. We will provide a shipping estimate and may also recommend alternative suppliers closer to your location to help minimize shipping costs.

Special Shipping Conditions

  • Live birds are not available for courier delivery and must be picked up from our Glenbrook shop.
  • Hatching eggs can be couriered. We take great care in packaging them securely, but we cannot guarantee hatch rates due to handling during transit.

Returns & Warranty Policy

If you have any concerns about your purchase, please contact us at [email protected], and we’ll do our best to resolve any issues.

Returns & Exchanges

  • If you wish to return an item, please let us know if it has been opened. Most returns must be in an unused and resaleable condition.
  • If your item arrived damaged, please email us a photo as soon as possible. This helps us determine where the damage occurred, make contact with the manufacturer/supplier, and arrange for a replacement or return process.

Brinsea Incubator Warranty

  • Brinsea incubators come with a time-based warranty.
  • To check your warranty status, please provide the product name and serial number, and we will verify your purchase date to arrange repair or replacement – if applicable.

Item Weather Protection

  • Woven porous feed bags are shipped in a plastic bag to protect them from general wet weather conditions, however we cannot guarantee that this outer layer will remain intact once it leaves our premises.
