COVID-19 Update:  9 June 2020   –   

We are now in Level 1 — Essentially back to normal! Well done, NZ!

Hand sanitizer is available and we have a QR code available, if you wish to scan yourself as being on-site.

You can still “Click & Collect” items – just select pick up and let us know which day/time you are coming.

Couriers are still experiencing a large number of items nationwide.   Please allow extra time for your deliveries to arrive.

COVID-19 Update: 31/3/2020

Our physical shop is closed, however, as an essential part of the animal supply chain, we are permitted (and committed) to continue to provide an online service to you and your flock. 🐣

IMPORTANT DETAILS : 

During this lockdown period, there are no Eftpos or cash facilities available. ALL PURCHASES MUST BE COMPLETED BY CREDIT CARD VIA OUR WEBSITE OR BY BANK TRANSFER.  We have temporarily adjusted the courier rate for the Auckland region to give you some relief and encourage courier delivery.  Due to ongoing issues with some customers not promptly transferring funds, we will not ship until all monies are received, therefore non-payment may delay the arrival of your item/s.

Please respect others and keep quantities of products ordered to a minimum to ensure everyone has fair access to purchase items.

We reserve the right to adjust orders when necessary (with the option of backorder or refund where payment has been made). 

SUPPLY IS THERE IF EVERYONE SHOPS CALMLY.

Couriers are running a reduced schedule and will be collecting from us twice per week. Please allow extra time for your deliveries to arrive. 

PICK UP FROM THE CHOOKYARD IS STRICTLY FOR CUSTOMERS IN OUR LOCAL AREA & ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED IN ADVANCE.
These pick-ups must be collected between 12.00pm and 3.00pm on Tues, Weds and Thurs ONLY. We will call you to confirm pick up details and full instructions for collection will be emailed once your order has been received and confirmed.
When you pick up
🐣 Please remain in your vehicle if there is someone else here before you.
🐣 Your order will be on a pallet with your name on it.
🐣 Hand Sanitiser and paper towels will be available. Please use them.
🐣 Please place used paper in box provided.
🐣 Please do not bring extra people for a drive. Only those you need to help load your purchase/s. Due to no-contact during this lockdown, we will be unable to assist you.
🐣 DO NOT enter our property if we have not confirmed your pick-up.

If you are outside our local area, we reserve the right to refuse your request for pick up and will instead invoice you for the relevant courier charges.

COVID-19 Update: 24/3/2020

Hi all.

The past two days have been manic with orders outstripping the delivery from our suppliers.

We have had to make the incredibly difficult decision to temporarily close our store and online shop, while we wait for supplies to restock the shelves, and to figure out how to get feed to those who need it, as they need it.

COVID-19 Update: 23/3/2020

 🐣Our shop will be open Tuesday and Wednesday for normal hours.
🐣Stock is currently low due to very high demand over the weekend. The delivery trucks are currently in transit up the island.

🐣We are waiting to confirm that we can continue to provide your essential poultry needs and feeds during lock down and will update you as soon as this is known (and if so, how this may proceed).

COVID-19 Update: 22/3/2020 

With social distancing being the new normal, we are happy to offer a “click & collect” type service for customers who usually visit our shop – just purchase online, select Local pick up in the shopping cart check out and then email or call us with when you are intending to arrive, and we will have your order ready to go.   Alternatively, you can email, call or text us your order and pick up details.

Card and bank transfer payments are also preferable to cash, due to possible contamination risk.

We have checked with our suppliers and wish to advise all our customers that feed will still be regularly available to us.  At this stage, there is no need to “mass buy” your feed, as this can affect the next customer who needs just a bag or two.

If you do require bulk bags, please contact us by email or phone and we would be happy to coordinate an order for you.
