Diatomaceous Earth consists of fossilized remains of diatoms, a type of hard-shelled algae, that is found as a?soft, siliceous, sedimentary rock that?s easily crumbled into powder form. The powder has an abrasive feel, similar to pumice powder & is very light due to its high porosity.

Dust DE in and around beds, within bedding, kennels, baskets, perches in and around the home where blood-sucking parasites may be present.?? The powder damages pest insect’s protective shell on contact causing it to slowly dehydrate & die.? Pay particular attention to nooks & crannies, crevasses, perches & nesting areas, as this is where mites like to hide in the darkness.
